God’s Eyes Are Upon Us from His Sanctuary - Psalm 102:19

He looked down from the height of His sanctuary; from heaven the Lord viewed the earth” - Psalm 102:19 (NKJV)

Sometimes life feels overwhelming. Problems pile up, and we wonder if anyone truly notices our struggles or cares about what we’re going through. In these moments, it’s easy to feel alone and forgotten.

This verse offers us powerful reassurance that God sees everything not from afar, but from the height of His sanctuary, His holy and perfect dwelling place. From there, He watches over the entire earth with deep love and compassion.

No matter where you find yourself today or what trials you face, know that God’s eyes are upon you. He knows your pain, your hopes, and the desires of your heart. And from His sacred sanctuary, He is ready to respond to comfort, guide, and strengthen you.

Take heart and trust in this truth: you are never alone. The Creator of the universe is watching over you, caring for you deeply, and working all things together for your good.

Prayer 

Heavenly Father, Thank You that You see us and care for us from Your holy sanctuary. When life feels heavy and we feel alone, help us to remember that You are watching over us with love and compassion. I pray for everyone reading this devotion today. May they feel Your presence, receive Your comfort, and be strengthened by Your grace. Help them to trust that You are always near, working all things for their good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
